Most of our work is powered by our wonderful volunteers, but we do have a small number of paid roles, primarily to support the volunteers in their work. We try always to have a positive and enjoyable working atmosphere, where we try to make everyone feel part of the team, whatever their role.

Mental Health Outreach Caseworker
We currently have a vacancy for a part time (18.75 hours) Mental Health Outreach Caseworker here at Citizens Advice Epsom and Ewell.
We have a highly successful and long running mental health outreach project which has funding to continue a specific project role supporting clients with severe and enduring issues who are in, or have been in, local hospitals.
Significant experience of providing high quality advice is essential, either as a volunteer or in paid employment, and you’ll be a good self-starter with the ability to deal sensitively and tactfully with people who have mental health problems. A good understanding of welfare benefits and debt issues is key, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to cope with challenging situations and competing demands.
The caseworker will work as part of the Mental Health team and report to the Chief Executive. Start date: ASAP.

Specialist Money Advice Caseworker
We have a vacancy for a part time Specialist Money Advice Caseworker at our office in central Epsom. 30 hours per week to be worked flexibly over 4-5 days. Salary £25,000 - £27,000 pro rata. Job shares considered.
We have a highly successful and long running Money Advice team, which has funding to continue their contribution to maximising income and managing and reducing debt for referred clients in the local community.
We are looking for a candidate with recent debt advice knowledge (FCA compliant) and experience of managing a demanding caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join our well-regarded team and make a real difference to the lives of local people with severe debt problems.
The caseworker will work as part of the Money Advice team and report to the Chief Executive. Start date: ASAP.
