Volunteer Money Advice Administration Support

Flexible hours minimum 1 or 2 half days worked between Monday to Thursday to be agreed.

 

Main duties and responsibilities 

 

  • Managing diaries / phoning clients re: missed appointments and confirming / rescheduling appointments
  • Answering the telephone, taking messages and managing voicemail
  • Logging incoming mail on Casebook
  • Using templates as appropriate, drafting client care letters / other follow up letters
  • Follow up with clients to ascertain the outcomes of advice, and recording these on Casebook
  • Updating databases and information systems.
  • Filing, archiving and tidying files
  • Closing of cases against a list
  • Moving, scanning and attaching of documents to Casebook
  • Deleting files as appropriate
  • Shredding

 

Personal skills and qualities

 

  • Ability to use IT e.g. basic keyboard / data entry skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good organisation skills
  • Sensitivity to the needs of others
