Community Foundation for Surrey grant will be ‘hugely beneficial’
We are delighted to receive a grant from Community Foundation for Surrey to support our winter poverty advice work this year.
The cost of living crisis is putting great pressure on many people, leaving them worried about how they will heat their homes and feed their families.
Our dedicated advisers help local people with free advice and support through the Wenceslas Project and the Epsom & Ewell Energy Support Scheme. These excellent schemes exist due to the generosity of local donors.
Support includes energy-saving advice, fuel vouchers and providing energy-saving appliances subject to eligibility. This is in addition to other advice which may be beneficial for individual clients.
Lisa Davis, CEO of CAEE said
“This funding is hugely beneficial in enabling us to deliver much needed energy advice and support to local people this winter including providing fuel vouchers. With rising energy bills and increased cost of living, such support is critical and could help avoid the ‘heat or eat’ dilemma experienced by some people”.
Anyone struggling with energy or other costs should contact us urgently for advice and support from our trained advisers.
